To serve as a liaison to the medical/scientific community, responsible for establishing, developing, and partnering with healthcare providers and professionals (HCPs), including external medical experts, study investigators, and treatment guideline experts. The role involves ensuring the appropriate dissemination of clinical and scientific information regarding Novartis’ compounds in a timely, ethical, and stakeholder-focused manner. It also includes implementing clinical and educational strategies in collaboration with colleagues and pairing stakeholders’ educational and research needs with available Novartis resources.
Major accountabilities:
Support scientific exchange to advance understanding of new principles, trends, and debates. Provide educational information to HCPs and analyze insights to inform medical strategies.
Serve as a local medical resource for disease and product training, contribute to IPS planning, and support medical affairs strategies.
Ensure adherence to relevant processes and compliance policies, fostering an environment free from discrimination and harassment.
Timely engagement planning, quality of medical expert contributions, effective communication, and timely delivery of activities.
Manage budgets as assigned; no direct personnel management.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective implementation of medical objectives and contributing to a top-tier Medical Affairs organization.
Education: Pharmacist, MSc, or other life sciences degree; doctoral degree preferred.
Languages: Fluent in English and local language.
Experience/Capabilities: Proven relationship-building skills, knowledge of healthcare systems, research procedures, GCP, and ethical guidelines. Experience in medical education and communication, understanding of scientific data, excellent communication skills, adaptability, and familiarity with social media and digital platforms.
