JASARA PMC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Manager, Planning to oversee our project planning efforts. This leadership role involves developing and implementing effective planning strategies aligned with our project objectives. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure plans are well-defined, followed, and adaptable to changing conditions.

The position requires leading a talented planning team, optimizing planning processes to minimize risks and ensure successful project delivery. The role also emphasizes fostering collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, and aligning project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Champion a culture of health and safety by prioritizing the well-being of team members and stakeholders in all planning activities.
2. Demonstrate exemplary leadership that reflects JASARA PMC's core values.
3. Oversee the planning team's deliverables, set objectives, manage performance, and nurture talent to maximize efficiency.
4. Develop and maintain comprehensive planning methodologies, processes, and standards.
5. Collaborate with project management and execution teams for seamless plan integration into project delivery.
6. Regularly evaluate project progress, assess risks, and implement mitigation measures.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 12 years of experience in project planning and controls, preferably in construction or engineering sectors.
2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
3. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.
4. Extensive experience with planning software, especially Primavera P6, and a solid understanding of project management principles.
5. Proven ability to manage complex projects within timelines and budgets.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective leadership and motivation.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment managing competing priorities.
9. Proven track record of fostering positive relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
10. Prior experience in the Saudi or Middle Eastern market is preferred.
