Job Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up the framework of Nagel's business continuity function, including policies, procedures, and recovery plans.
  • Develop and maintain an effective organizational business continuity plan that meets industry standards and can be executed quickly in an emergency.
  • Create plans for maintaining operations during a disaster, including establishing backup facilities or alternate sites.
  • Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure implementation of the business continuity plan and readiness of relevant functions in case of a crisis.
  • Conduct regular drills to test emergency response plans and identify areas for improvement.

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management and/or Business Continuity.
  • Preferred certifications: RMP, MOR, CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships, and challenge the business when necessary.
  • Discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Driven, motivated, positive mindset, and adaptable.
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and with stakeholders.
  • Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques and team management experience.
  • Critical thinking and initiative-taking abilities.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority to adopt new processes or initiatives.
