We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team in Abha.

Job Description

As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and subcontractor services necessary for construction projects. You will collaborate closely with the engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement in compliance with company policies and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities.
• Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and analyze bids for technical and commercial compliance.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and budgets.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance and resolve any supply-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and local regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
• Track and report procurement status regularly to project managers and senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement within the construction or contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Familiarity with local and international suppliers.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
