Senior Avionics Electrical Technician Lead

Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Description:

Functions as the Avionics/Electrician Lead Technician. Performs unit-level aircraft electrical, navigational, and avionics repair and maintenance on aircraft electrical components. Supervises other Avionics/Electrician Technicians within the section. Conducts maintenance on electrical components of aircraft using relevant manuals, including the Operator Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, and Check List Manual, along with any customer or specific directives. Diagnoses and repairs aircraft systems and component malfunctions, including solid-state and transistorized devices, following technical manuals, directives, and safety procedures. Uses appropriate measuring tools, including precision measuring instruments and alignment fixtures. Performs operational checks on aircraft electrical systems. Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs aircraft electrical test sets and diagnostic equipment. Assists customers with requisitioning and maintaining shop and bench stock items for avionics systems repair. Operates and maintains common and specialized tools, AGSE, and PGSE. Prepares maintenance documentation and records. Ensures all operations are conducted safely.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years experience as an aircraft electrician.
  3. Qualified through the appropriate USG armed forces aircraft electrician maintenance course or civilian equivalent.
  4. Graduated from a US Military aircraft electrician maintenance course or civilian equivalent.
  5. Previous experience in unit-level electrical repairs on supported aircraft.
  6. Proficient in using computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, maintenance forms, and related documentation.
  7. Proficient in MS Office software.
  8. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  9. Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
  10. Possession of a valid US-issued driver’s license and passport.
  11. Ability to pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Successful completion of mandatory medical examinations.
  2. Clean criminal record, with no prior convictions, as required for a Saudi Work Visa.
  3. Pass a drug test and adhere to periodic random drug and alcohol testing policies.
  4. Compliance with Saudi Labor Law throughout employment.
