Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior HSE and First Aid Trainer who will deliver and develop exceptional training programs, act as a subject matter expert (SME), and support business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, technical expertise, and strong client engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver tailored high-impact training programs for HSE and first aid, aligned with client needs.
  • Serve as an SME, advising clients on compliance, risk management, and safety protocols across various sectors.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions in accordance with regulatory and international standards.
  • Customize training content (PPTs, manuals, case studies) based on industry, location, and client feedback.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to identify training needs and propose solutions.
  • Assess trainee performance through evaluations, drills, and practical exercises.
  • Lead technical discussions and provide consultancy on safety improvements.
  • Maintain documentation of training sessions, certifications, and feedback.
  • Contribute to tenders, technical proposals, and course development to meet market demand.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Medical/Paramedical fields (Master's preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in delivering HSE, First Aid, Fire Safety, and Specialized Safety Training.
  • Strong industry exposure in construction, oil & gas, logistics, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record in curriculum development, training center operations, and supporting business development.

Professional Certifications (Minimum Required):

  • Highfield Qualifications Level 3 or above in First Aid, CPR, AED, Health & Safety (preferably Approved TTT).
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Level 6 and CM IOSH preferred).
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification (General Industry or Construction).
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • Medic First Aid Instructor Certification.
  • Saudi Heart Association (SHA) CPR/First AED Instructor Certification.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (preferred).
  • HABC Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace.
  • Train the Trainer Certification emphasizing adult learning methods.
  • Fire Marshal / Fire Warden Certification.
  • Expertise in Scaffolding Safety, Work at Heights, Confined Space Entry, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of HSE regulations (GCC and international).
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Zoom/MS Teams, and e-learning platforms.
  • Ability to influence and advise B2B clients on training strategies and compliance.
  • Commercial acumen to identify upsell opportunities and support business growth.
