Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our growing company and drive operational improvements and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the seamless operation of our warehouses, managing staff, and optimizing processes to enhance productivity. Key responsibilities include inventory management, precise orderfulfillment, and logistics coordination to support efficient e-commerce operations. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager must uphold the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and safety across all activities, ensuring a well-organized and compliant work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, efficiency, and performance
  • Prepare required reports, logs, and documents for the COO.
  • Monitor the stock level in warehouses and stores and generate purchase requisitions to ensure their availability when needed.
  • Ensure timely dispatch and distribution of stock as required.
  • Oversee inventory reconciliation and stock taking procedures, ensuring accurate and timely inventory records.
  • Receive all delivered stock and ensure compliance with the purchase order.
  • Sort, organize, and store stock in a proper location to ensure easy access.
  • Generate new stock references in the company system and label them correctly
  • Maintain updated stock records and keep correct stock count in the company system
  • Conduct a physical count of inventory regularly to ensure that the stock data on paper matches the inventory that is in the storage
  • Facilitate efficient, timely audits throughout the year
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Follow up with Finance to arrange on-timely payments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory management with business goals.
  • Provide actionable insights based on inventory data to support decision-making and continuous.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve inventory processes, performance, and accuracy.
  • Identify and implement best practices to reduce variances and optimize inventory performance.
  • Identify potential inventory risks, including damages, pilferage, and misplacement, and take
  • Address any discrepancies in inventory counts and work to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure all goods are stored according to company standards, optimizing storage space and accessibility.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 Years experience as Warehouse Manager
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
  • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls within ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
  • Excellent Computer Skills (MS, OS, and other computer-related skills).
  • Good written & spoken English & Arabic a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude for process improvements and routine maintenance is a plus.
