ROLE PURPOSE

• Test Designing and Execution
• Apply functional and non-functional testing of software applications following established test plans and procedures to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Describe problems clearly, provide steps to reproduce, and prioritize defects based on severity and impact.
• Collaborate with development teams for timely resolution and retesting of issues.
• Execute test cases and scripts, ensuring coverage of requirements.
• Test Documentation and Reporting
• Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases and scripts, following standards and best practices.
• Prepare test data for various scenarios to ensure comprehensive testing.
• Maintain accurate test reports, defect tracking, and metrics.
• Provide status updates on testing activities.
• Defect Management and Analysis
• Review and analyze defects, prioritize them, and work with developers for reproduction and resolution.
• Document defects thoroughly with steps, behavior, logs, and screenshots.
• Collaboration and Communication
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements.
• Communicate testing progress and issues effectively to stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings and reviews to provide feedback on software quality.
