Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Supply Chain Manager located in Dammam at Gulf Cryo. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for demand planning, supply management, inventory management, procurement, and utilizing analytical skills to optimize the supply chain operations. Coordinate all aspects of the supply chain which consists of strategy, Sourcing, manufacturing, delivery and logistics. Coordinate team efforts Procurement, Operations, and distribution

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and asset vitalization.
  • Implement and document new supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.
  • Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Streamline systems and procedures and establish effective controls.
  • Devise efficient logistics management system to ensure and delivery of products as per committed timelines and cost.
  • Ensure proper resource planning and utilization.
  • Focus on safety, cost management and business growth in all interactions and directives.
  • Develop, teach, and reinforce safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Handle communications and negotiations with external suppliers.
  • Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
  • Identify processes that need improvement and initiate continual improvement drives.
  • Manage staff training needs to ensure continuing competence by planning and executing trainings to achieve maximum productivity.
  • Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
  • Set employees objectives and conduct performance review for all supply chain employees.
  • Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Lead by example to observe HSE rules and regulations.
  • Identify hazards and employees safety concerns, and work with HSE Specialist to resolve them.
  • Accountable for own health and safety and do not put others at risk in the course of work performance.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports for management.
  • Perform other work-related duties as required and assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirement:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or relevant field

Experience

5+ years in a similar job

Languages

Language proficiency in English, Arabic is a plus.
