A leading company in the energy sector is seeking a Quality Engineer to enhance product quality and supplier performance. The role involves quality checking, process development, and collaboration for continuous improvement. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and experience in quality control.
To build and grow the deliver world-class Quality and drive Improvements.
You will arrange and perform activities on the shop floor related to quality checking of products, incoming material quality, production, and testing processes.
You will be responsible for process development, procedures, templates, and work instructions related to incoming quality and supplier quality.
You will collaborate with and empower all departments for deviation detection, non-conformance follow-ups, root cause analysis, correction measures implementation, and continuous improvement.
You will attend and participate in internal/external audits (ISO, Hitachi Energy, Customer) and work with all departments to close all findings and implement improvements.
You will participate in organizational changes, lean culture challenges, decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, driving change, and influencing continuous improvement, time management, and implementation within the BU.
You will implement and monitor the quality strategy, handle complaints and processes using predefined quality KPIs, and arrange & perform report templates or similar.
You will ensure a safe environment by implementing HSE requirements, monitor supplier quality performance, material management, and follow up on corrective actions related to NCRs and CCRPs.
The employee shall also carry out any tasks assigned by management necessary to fulfill the job requirements.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, especially in Electrical or Mechanical fields.
Experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance and GIS product knowledge.
Hands-on inspection of materials, QMS, and internal quality auditing.
Knowledge of quality tools, RCA, Lean Six Sigma.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
