Job description

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Import Coordinator to support our customs clearance operations and coordinate international purchasing logistics. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and compliant inbound shipments (air, sea, land) by working closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily with customs clearance agents across multiple ports to track shipments and ensure on-time clearance.

Review all shipping and customs documents (invoices, B/Ls, COO, packing lists) for accuracy and compliance.

Communicate with freight companies and logistics providers to follow up on shipment status and delivery schedules.

Work with the international procurement team to ensure timely submission of required clearance documents.

Maintain organized digital and physical records of all clearance documents for audit readiness.

Track and report delays, discrepancies, and provide suggested resolutions.

Support system entries in platforms like FASAH and NAFEZ when needed.

Propose improvements to clearance procedures to minimize costs and avoid penalties.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customs coordination or freight logistics.

Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and dealing with external brokers.

Familiarity with Saudi customs systems (FASAH) is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.

Good command of English and Arabic.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
