We are seeking a driven and capable Construction Project Manager to support the development of multiple data center projects for a top technology client. This client-facing role requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, the ability to self-direct, client representation, and solid project management fundamentals. The ideal candidate must manage multiple projects across regions and have a background in data center development, design, engineering, controls, and operational requirements.

You will play an integral role in mentoring staff, building long-term client relationships, and pursuing new work through strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply modern project management techniques within complex, multi-functional organizations; possess knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, contracting, safety, construction, and commissioning.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, communicating effectively with technical and management personnel.
• Manage assigned projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to management on project progress, findings, and recommendations.
• Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
• Prepare RFPs, support contractor selection, and facilitate contract awards.
• Coordinate with contractors to establish CPM baseline schedules.
• Perform resource analyses to identify potential bottlenecks and resource strains.
• Identify project risks, gaps, and opportunities; provide mitigation and enhancement recommendations.
• Facilitate and chair project meetings, including OAC meetings, and maintain accurate minutes and action items.
• Review and validate project progress, contractor payments, and invoices.
• Conduct technical and financial assessments, feasibility studies, site surveys, and liaise with designers and engineers.
• Contribute to business development through strategy, positioning, proposal, and contract negotiations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• 15+ years of construction project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, project management, or related fields
• Strong understanding of construction, civil, structural, and architectural disciplines
• Knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, and building systems
• Experience in report development for diverse audiences
• Experience in client-facing roles
• Ability to understand and communicate technical construction programs effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred:

• Master's in Construction Management or BSc. in Construction Engineering
• Experience with Earned Value Management
• Active membership in PMI, CCMA, or similar
• PMP certification
• Strong background in data center development and construction
