JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Nutrition Promotion Trainee

Reports to: First Line Manager

Locations: Riyadh, Jeddah, Abha, Madina

OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Abbott Foundation Program offers recent graduates in Clinical Nutrition, Food/Nutrition Science, or Biology/Chemistry/Biochemistry the opportunity to build a fulfilling career with one of the largest healthcare companies globally.

Through classroom training, on-the-job training, and cross-functional projects, this program aims to develop your knowledge, skills, and competencies to join our product promotional team.

During the program, you will engage in assignment activities to support your learning and professional development, participate in field visits to enhance your visibility within and outside the company, and build a solid foundation to act as a link between Abbott and healthcare professionals.

You will be responsible for:

1. Covering a specific geographical area.
2. Promoting Abbott products among various groups including General Practitioners, Hospital Doctors, Child Nutritionists, Pharmacists, and Nurses.
3. Making presentations and organizing group events for healthcare professionals.
4. Working with contacts on a one-to-one basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Saudi National

- Successful completion of a degree in Clinical Nutrition, Food/Nutrition Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry less than 24 months ago.

- Passion for working in the field (not office-based).

- Proactive, team-oriented, good communication skills, and willing to learn about sales in a multinational healthcare company.

- Native Arabic speaker with an advanced level of English (the recruitment process will be conducted in English).
