# Director of Information Technology

Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic IT professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Director of Information Technology, you will be responsible for monitoring the operation of all computer hardware installation and maintenance. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Serve as the primary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware.
2. Maintain licenses for all software and ensure all systems are covered by proper maintenance contracts.
3. Maintain a sufficient inventory of computer-related supplies.
4. Maintain logs of all computer hardware and service calls.
5. Manage configuration records, program files, and data files on the computer system.
6. Monitor software performance and maintain logs of performance reports, errors, and system malfunctions.
7. Install and test approved program changes to the hotel computer systems.
8. Investigate and report software problems to vendors or regional/corporate offices.
9. Train selected hotel employees to manage systems in your absence.
10. Maintain technical and user documentation, system reports, and newsletters.
11. Complete and distribute a monthly activities report to the Corporate Vice President - Information Technology.

Skills

You should have a degree in information technology and previous experience in a similar role, with proven knowledge across all IT sectors. Excellent command of English and the ability to design networks and provide technical leadership are essential.
