Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of Fire Fighting Systems:
- Install and set up fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and fire suppression systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Ensure systems are installed according to relevant safety codes, regulations, and manufacturer instructions.
Maintenance and Inspection:- Perform routine inspections and testing of fire safety equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Check fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, alarms, fire hoses, and emergency exits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Clean, lubricate, and replace parts of the equipment as necessary.
Repairs and Troubleshooting:- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on malfunctioning fire protection equipment and systems.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns, providing quick solutions to restore functionality.
Compliance and Documentation:- Ensure all fire protection systems are compliant with local, state, and national fire safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Provide recommendations for upgrades and improvements based on system performance and regulatory changes.
