Job description

Business Development Mission : Growing the Market

  • Prospect and Identify : Develop new sales opportunities by actively seeking out prospects.
  • Build Relationships : Establish and maintain strong partnerships with system integrators, end users, consultants, and partners to detect and influence opportunities early.
  • Single Point of Contact (SPOC) : Serve as the primary contact for the end customer, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Support local partners and customers throughout the sales stages with commercial and technical advice.
  • Translate customer needs into winning solutions and offerings.
  • Work closely with internal teams like Product Management and Technical Experts to drive success across multiple projects in an international environment.
  • Provide input to Field Marketing on effective strategies to reach key communities.
  • Participate in regular trainings from Barco HQ and represent the company at trade shows and regional events.
  • Support new product launches by promoting solutions to managed accounts.
  • Increase Barco sales within key accounts and through end-customer acquisition in targeted regions.
  • Establish contact with prospects and secure demo opportunities, closing deals during visits or industry events.
  • Follow up on leads from Barco campaigns and present tailored value propositions.

Reporting and Market Insights

  • Report on weekly visits and funnel management, ensuring CRM systems are up-to-date.
  • Identify potential roadblocks to opportunities and relay them to management for support.
  • Monitor market trends and provide competitive intelligence to Sales Management and Product teams.
  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience : 3-5 years of proven sales experience in a related industry or technology.
  • People Management : Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills across teams.
  • Results-Driven : Demonstrated success in hunting for opportunities, negotiating deals, and achieving sales targets.
  • Relationship Building : Expertise in building long-lasting partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
