Job Description

What is the job?

The position is responsible for soliciting and managing sales opportunities. Ensures proper and timely handover of business for effective service delivery. Conducts daily sales activities focused on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales targets. Analyzes local market trends and competitor activities to develop strategies that position the hotel as a market leader and foster future and repeat business.

Typical daily tasks include:

  1. Identifying and developing potential clients in designated offline segments and integrating them into the sales pipeline.
  2. Gaining comprehensive knowledge of client accounts and their hospitality needs.
  3. Promoting all hotel products and services.
  4. Conducting regular sales visits to clients.
  5. Understanding client requirements and aligning products/services accordingly.
  6. Providing after-sales service and addressing client feedback appropriately.
  7. Meeting and exceeding revenue objectives.
  8. Practicing cost-effective sales activities.
  9. Enhancing hotel profitability through higher yields and lower sales costs.
  10. Reporting market and competitor information accurately and promptly.
  11. Maintaining accurate sales activity reports and pipelines.
  12. Achieving sales visitation targets and engaging in telemarketing and canvassing.
  13. Performing any other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications and Skills

What we need from you:

  • 2-3 years of sales experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
  • Hospitality degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent customer relations, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera Sales software.
  • Proven ability to generate new business opportunities.
  • Assertive, professional, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
