Job Description:
- Manage daily logistics requests from internal stakeholders and execute shipments on time through FFW or Carriers.
- Track and trace shipments and update their status daily.
- Validate freight bills submitted by carriers and coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely payments.
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs and ensure corrective actions from LSPs in case of deviations.
- Serve as escalation point for operational issues with inbound freight (Air/Ocean/Domestic).
- Support sea, air, and road freight bidding and requirement definition to assist procurement activities.
- Monitor carrier performance and take corrective actions to resolve LSP issues.
- Ensure schedule adherence and address damages.
- Support damage claims and corrective actions.
- Handle all modes of transportation including air, sea, road, courier, and multimodal.
- Ensure all certifications (Saber, PCOC, OK2FWD, etc.) are in place before shipment execution.
- Develop strong relationships with freight forwarders, supply chain teams, transport procurement, and material planning teams.
- Understand and document requirements for daily management of international air, sea, and road freight, including forecasting.
- Proactively communicate delays or impacts on deliveries, streamlining communication.
- Oversee plant compliance related to shipment pre-notices, on-time delivery, proper packaging, and labeling.
- Ensure proper Bill of Lading for all shipments.
- Verify PO/Contract and Budget before executing shipments.
- Have knowledge of handling DG cargo shipments.
Skills & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Operations, Engineering, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Experience in continuous improvement processes.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Results-oriented, motivated, and energetic.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Minimum Experience:
- Experience in project and process management.
- Experience in leading and managing transportation activities.
- Experience with 8D/5-Why problem-solving techniques.
- Experience using transportation management systems (e.g., SAP).
- At least 2+ years of experience in a transportation logistics role involving international air and sea freight.
