Role Purpose: Key Account Manager is responsible for growing sales volumes and growth opportunities through a long-term, professional, and proactive relationship with an existing customer portfolio.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales Management
- Improve organic growth with existing business customers through a proactive sales/service relationship and a developed awareness of the customers’ needs.
- Establishes annual targets for individual accounts with an action plan.
- Develops an annual sales plan with the Area Sales Manager to determine ways and means of achieving planned sales.
- Develops monthly working and action plans as a means of achieving targets. Provide regular, detailed business reports to relevant management.
Receivables Management
- Maintains pricing and credit control in line with the company's policies and accepts full responsibility for collection
- Check and certify the routine payments and journal vouchers.
- Check and certify the daily cash movements’ statements.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain a professional customer relationship to improve the flow of communication, understanding, and increase loyalty to the business.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the market sector to better influence customers of the benefits of the existing relationship
- Create a profile & standard operating procedures for each customer.
- Build excellent field key accounts relationships to establish and maintain customer satisfaction.
Communication & Follow Up
- Communicate potential problems with customer service, sales, and product support.
- Carry out the administration of sales leads and of routing orders
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
