Job description

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on all electrical systems, ensuring compliance with Atkins Ralis and Client Contractual SLA & KPIs.

  1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  2. Perform general electrical maintenance on internal wiring, HV panels, MV panels, and UPS panels as per drawings and manufacturer recommendations.
  3. Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components; perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
  4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
  6. Execute electrical wiring plans for systems.
  7. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarms and other systems.
  8. Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels).
  9. Connect wiring in circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility.
  10. Prepare and assemble conduits; connect wiring through them.
  11. Prevent system breakdowns by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
  12. Perform troubleshooting to identify malfunctions and repair or replace damaged units.
  13. Carry out other tasks as directed.
  14. Ensure compliance with SNC-Lavalin HSE rules.
  15. Take initiatives to protect the environment, including limiting printing, saving energy and water.
  16. Avoid unsafe acts and report unsafe conditions immediately.
  17. Report all incidents promptly.
  18. Wear required PPE at all times during work.
  19. Attend toolbox talks and other training sessions.
Key Skills:
  • Ability to install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues with testing devices.
  • Knowledge of HV panels, MV panels, UPS panels, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
  • Familiarity with safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels).
  • Ability to prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
  • Strong adherence to safety protocols and HSE rules.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Certificate in Electrical/Maintenance.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Facility Management.
  • Proficiency in English (written & oral); Arabic skills are an asset.
