Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented **Interior Designer** with expertise in **furniture selection, space planning, and interior styling** to lead projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for furnishings, materials, and decor, combined with strong project coordination skills to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Furniture & Interior Styling:

- Select and source furniture, lighting, textiles, and decor to align with client aesthetics and functional needs.

- Create detailed FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specifications and procurement plans.

- Develop custom furniture designs or collaborate with artisans/manufacturers for bespoke pieces.

2. Space Planning & Design Development:

- Produce floor plans, 3D visualizations, and material boards highlighting furniture layouts and interior schemes.

- Optimize spatial functionality while maintaining design integrity.

3. Project Management & Coordination:

- Oversee procurement, lead times, and logistics for furniture and decor deliveries.

- Manage installation days, ensuring flawless styling and client satisfaction.

- Track budgets, vendor contracts, and purchase orders.

4. Client & Vendor Relations:

- Present design concepts with a focus on furniture and finishes.

- Build relationships with showrooms, craftsmen, and suppliers for exclusive pieces.

5. Administrative Oversight:

- Maintain organized records of invoices, warranties, and client preferences.

- Ensure compliance with lead times, shipping, and returns.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in residential /commercial interiors, with a portfolio showcasing furniture-focused projects.

- Proficiency in **AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, photoshop, or 3D rendering tools** (for space planning). Ms office.

- Strong knowledge of **furniture brands, antiques, vintage markets, and trade-only suppliers**.

- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple orders/deadlines.
