Job Title: Service Engineer - Dosing Pumps
Department: After-Sales Service / Technical Services
Location: [ Jubail, Saudi Arabia]
Reports To: Service Manager / Technical Manager

Job Summary:
The Service Engineer Dosing Pumps is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of dosing pumps and associated systems. The role involves both on-site service and in-house technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction and equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission dosing pumps (mechanical and electronic) at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on dosing systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot pump failures and recommend solutions.
• Calibrate and test pumps, control panels, and flow meters.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and junior technicians.
• Maintain service documentation, reports, and records accurately.
• Liaise with the sales and application team to recommend upgrades or spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all service activities.
• Occasionally support in pre-delivery inspections and FAT testing at the workshop.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience: 4-5 years of experience in service and maintenance of dosing pumps or related equipment.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of dosing pump types (diaphragm, piston, peristaltic, etc.)
• Familiarity with brands like SPX, Grundfos, Milton Roy, SEKO, Prominent, etc.
• Understanding of chemical compatibility and dosing applications.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Soft Skills: Good communication, customer-facing attitude, problem-solving ability.
• Other: Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.

Preferred:

• Experience with PLC-controlled dosing systems.
• Knowledge of Oil & gas applications, Petrochemical & Chemical application.
