Role Overview:

We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator with experience in the F&B sector to support procurement operations. The ideal candidate will handle daily purchasing coordination, manage supplier relationships, and ensure procurement activities align with operational needs, particularly in the areas of food supplies, packaging, kitchen equipment, and logistics

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and follow up on purchase requests from branches and departments
  • Draft procurement contracts and coordinate with vendors for timely supply
  • Ensure procurement documentation complies with internal policies and food safety standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., kitchens, finance, logistics) to align purchasing needs
  • Track and follow up on supplier invoices and liaise with finance for payment processing
  • Maintain and evaluate a reliable supplier database, including those providing perishable goods
  • Track food and equipment shipments (especially cold chain items) and coordinate delivery
  • Work with banks on procurement-related documentation, including letters of credit
  • Organize and archive procurement documents and correspondence in Arabic and English
  • Assist in preparing regular procurement reports and participate in internal meetings
  • Perform other procurement-related tasks as directed by the Procurement Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of procurement experience in the food & beverage industry is a must.
  • Knowledge of F&B-specific procurement processes, food safety standards, and cold chain logistics.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Excellent skills in documentation, coordination, and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to process improvement.
