What ACES is Looking For

ACES is looking for Senior Accountant to join the team in Tabouk, Saudi Arabia.

Job Summary:

Perform professional accounting duties including the examination, analysis, maintenance, reconciliation and verification of financial records; and performs related work as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Collectors related to client/s accounts and requirements.
  • Validate and process Tax credit note request from Technical Department.
  • Reconciled AR and AP Aging against Trial Balance.
  • Control the credit limit and terms of payments.
  • Create and update client profile across designated branches.
  • Prepare and confirm ADQCC monthly invoices and payments.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Assist in internal and external requirements.
  • Control transferring invoices from OMS to Oracle systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of strategic plan.
  • Prepare and submit VAT, Corporate Tax, Government regulatory compliance and management requirements.
  • Prepare various financial statements such as invoice sheets, receipts, credit statements and expense accounts.
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions.
  • Perform all financial matters related to HR including and not limited to salary deductions, overtime calculation, personal advanced payments, and monthly deduction follow up.
  • Prepare weekly suppliers payment schedules and monthly reconciliation and seek approval from the Financial Manager.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records and analyze as directed.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of available computer technology.
  • Collect data on direct, indirect and overhead costs of operation and keep fixed assets logbook and update it in addition to preparing monthly and periodic fixed assets reports.
  • Validate, examine and analyze purchase order conformity with management policy.
  • Prepare and review accounts reconciliation.
  • Prepare cheque/s to suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly cash management, payables and purchase order reconciliation, and seek approval from the Financial Manager.
  • Control and reconciled Sub-Inventory and Fleet Management.
  • Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.

Reporting To:

This position will directly report to the Finance Department Manager/ Section Head.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Certified Bookkeeper (CB)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 2-4 years experience in in the field of accounting.
