Role Overview

To function as the Logistics Coordinator for Calo, overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of our company.

You will coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication and negotiation skills, is well-versed in supply management principles and practices, and aims for maximum efficiency in operations.

Main Responsibilities

1. Maintain the day-to-day operations of the delivery team, fleet trucks, and warehouse functions, including opening and closing of the warehouse and loading docks.
2. Monitor tracking progress and establish formal communication lines with management.
3. Make hiring recommendations and provide ongoing training for drivers.
4. Conduct inspections of loading docks to ensure cleanliness and organization.
5. Route daily deliveries to ensure timely arrivals at all destinations.
6. Record daily work assignments and maintain attendance files for drivers and helpers.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a logistics coordinator or similar role.
• Fleet management experience and ability to manage multiple vehicles.
• Familiarity with route optimization technology.
• Strong record-keeping abilities and customer-oriented approach.
• Logistics experience in Riyadh.
• Currently in KSA or willing to relocate.
• Proficient in English and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple processes.
• Multilingual abilities are advantageous.
• Experience with large or international companies is a plus.
