Job description

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) at Sobi, you will be responsible for driving the success of our Haematology portfolio in Saudi Arabia. You will serve as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals, payors, and institutions—ensuring effective patient identification, treatment access, and portfolio growth. This role is both strategic and hands-on, focused on strengthening Sobi’s presence in the rare disease space and delivering life-changing therapies to those who need them most.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you will combine strategic thinking, customer engagement, and a strong sense of purpose to make a real difference for patients living with rare diseases.

The position is a Field based role focusing on KSA reporting to Commercial Lead - KSA

Your impact will include :

  • Build and manage strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, payors, and key stakeholders.
  • Promote disease awareness and provide scientific education to HCPs.
  • Ensure access, reimbursement, and sustained use of Sobi treatments.
  • Lead account planning and execute tailored strategies across assigned accounts.
  • Monitor performance and provide market insights to inform sales and marketing plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize product availability and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and company policies.
  • Represent Sobi at relevant medical events and scientific exchanges.

Qualifications

You are a driven and experienced healthcare professional who thrives in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment. With a strong background in pharmaceutical sales, you combine scientific expertise, business acumen, and a patient-first mindset. You’re a natural relationship builder who communicates with clarity, acts with urgency, and always puts ethics and care at the forefront.

We are seeking a high-energy, self-starting sales professional who :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related medical field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales in Saudi Arabia.
  • Knowledge of rare diseases, haematology, nephrology, or oncology preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi health systems and access pathways.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Veeva).
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • High sense of ownership, collaboration, and initiative.
