Job description

Pinnacle Solutions is seeking a Powertrain-NDI specialist to work in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The Powertrain Mechanic will perform duties on the CH-47 aircraft. Join our team of outstanding professionals by applying today!

Responsibilities

1. Perform unit-level maintenance on aircraft powertrain and rotor systems.
2. Remove and replace powertrain quills, transmission adapting parts, rotary wing hub, and tanks.
3. Disassemble friction dampers and hanger assemblies.
4. Disassemble, repair, reassemble, adjust, balance, and align powertrain and rotor components, systems, and subsystems, including forward and aft rotor head assemblies, according to directives.
5. Apply corrosion preventative procedures.
6. Clean, preserve, and store powertrain and rotor components.
7. Use and perform operator maintenance on ground support equipment, common, and special tools.
8. Maintain facilities for storage of returnable and hazardous materials.
9. Requisition and maintain shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft powertrain and rotor systems and subsystems.
10. Prepare requests for turn-in and repair parts for powertrain and rotor components.
11. Use common and precision measuring tools, alignment fixtures, and other equipment necessary for tasks.
12. Assist customers in requisitioning and maintaining shop and bench stock items for aircraft powertrain repairs.
13. Ensure aircraft powertrain activities are planned, coordinated, and synchronized to meet operational readiness rates as per contractual requirements.
14. Establish daily maintenance goals, objectives, and priorities to achieve stated OR rates.
15. Oversee daily maintenance management of assigned aircraft in support of the Maintenance Lead and Aviation Logistics.
16. Adhere to maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
17. Lead inquiries, investigations, and research related to powertrain maintenance and activities.
18. Coordinate maintenance support activities with the Maintenance Lead.
19. Support Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures in coordination with the PC and Maintenance Lead.
20. Enter, review, and update aircraft maintenance records and forms.
21. Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT), coaching, and mentoring to personnel in aircraft powertrain tasks.
22. Ensure all maintenance operations are conducted safely.
23. Perform other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Lead.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 8 years' experience as an aircraft powertrain mechanic.
2. Successfully completed and qualified by the appropriate Government armed forces Powertrain course or civilian equivalent training.
3. Proficient in using computer-hosted technical manuals, maintenance forms, and aviation management systems.
4. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
5. Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
6. Possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state or government.
7. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
