Job Summary

Within PwC's government reporting consulting team, we have a record of high-quality delivery of client projects, strong technical knowledge, and a commercially rounded mindset. You will have the chance to hear from experts with experience in transformation projects around accrual accounting conversion under the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (“IPSAS”) framework.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the leadership team in building a long-term vision and strategy to continue growing the business.
  • Taking ownership in business development activities and leading their delivery.
  • Possessing strong project management skills, including client management and project budgeting.
  • Creating, reviewing, and delivering complex client deliverables.
  • Developing personally with guidance from experienced team members.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members.
  • Having solid knowledge of IPSAS and IFRS and conducting in-depth research on complex matters.
  • Managing a global mindset and connecting with colleagues across services.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Interacting with senior government officials or management teams in high-profile transactions.
  • Contributing to medium to long-term strategy.
  • Staying updated on trends in digital delivery and technology.
  • Leading, coaching, training, and mentoring junior staff.

Skills and Competencies

  • Relevant experience in IPSAS, IFRS, and cash to accrual conversion.
  • Understanding of public finance management and government accounting.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Arabic is mandatory; fluency in English is preferred.
  • Willingness to work in KSA.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related sector.

Years of Experience: 6+ years of experience, preferably in consulting.
