Position :

Senior Procurement Officer

Overview of the role:

Plan and supervise the supply of products and services essential for the company requirements. Manage day to day procurement activities and challenges by apply the best procurement practices to secure the best value deals.

Main Tasks:

  1. Purchase material & services to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met with the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
  2. Ensure continuous supply of required goods and services
  3. Monitor internal procurement systems, policies and processes and ensure compliance is achieved across the organization.
  4. Assist our team with queries and problems with procurement systems and processes, and address any non-compliance issues
  5. Monitor spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
  6. Report regularly the delivery status, cost savings, and vendor mater data.

Education & Experience:

  1. Minimum BSc Degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, engineering or a related area.
  2. 3 Years experience in Supply chain and/or operations functions.

Required Skills :

  1. 3 Years experience with SAP systems
  2. Good knowledge of Computer programs like MS Excel, Outlook, Word etc.
  3. Maintaining business relationships with vendors, including negotiating and reviewing contracts for legal compliance
  4. Developing new suppliers and negotiating supplier contracts to ensure that all best prices, terms and conditions are met
  5. Reporting skills with detailed analysis.
