Role Summary

As the Head of Quality and Training, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and the continuous development of our workforce. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing quality assurance processes and training programs to enhance employee skills and optimize organizational performance.

Quality Assurance

1. Develop and maintain quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures across all departments.
2. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and monitor quality performance.
3. Conduct regular audits, reviews, and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Training and Development

1. Design and implement comprehensive training programs to onboard new employees and enhance the skills and knowledge of existing staff.
2. Identify training needs through skill gap analysis, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
3. Develop training materials, manuals, and resources to support various learning modalities, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training.
4. Partner with department heads to facilitate department-specific training initiatives and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.

Performance Evaluation

1. Establish processes for evaluating employee performance against established quality standards and job expectations.
2. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees to support their professional growth and development.
3. Implement recognition and reward programs to acknowledge outstanding performance and encourage employee engagement and motivation.

Process Improvement

1. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains through data analysis, feedback mechanisms, and industry best practices.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements, streamline workflows, and eliminate bottlenecks to optimize organizational performance.
3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements and make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

Regulatory Compliance

1. Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to quality assurance and training.
2. Ensure organizational compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and certifications.
3. Collaborate with regulatory affairs and compliance teams to address compliance issues and mitigate risks associated with quality and training practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO) preferred.
2. Proven experience in quality assurance, training, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
3. Strong understanding of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate training programs.
6. Proficiency in data analysis, process improvement, and project management.
7. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
8. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
