Duties &Responsibilities for Commercial Lead Role at MDLBEAST
As the Commercial Lead at MDLBEAST in the Commercial & Products department, you will be responsible for:
Leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive commercial analytics strategy to support business objectives and drive growth.
Utilizing analytics techniques and tools to analyze sales data, market trends, customer behavior, and other relevant metrics to identify key insights and opportunities.
Being accountable for Commercial Post Implementation Review across all events, including automation of reports, collation and verification of data, learnings, and recommendations.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and develop analytics solutions specifically on revenues and cost efficiencies.
Designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
Conducting ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to answer specific business questions and uncover hidden insights.
Developing and maintaining predictive models and forecasting algorithms to support sales forecasting and demand planning.
Identifying opportunities to optimize pricing strategies, promotional activities, and product mix to maximize revenue and profitability.
Working closely with the finance team to manage budgets related to commercial activities.
Supporting key submissions required by senior management and entities such as Events Committee, National Events Center, and Auditors.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Consultancy – MBA is a plus
Proven experience in commercial analysis and finance within the events or entertainment industry
12 to 15 years of experience in a professional business environment at a similar role
Commercial acumen
Experience in events, music, or entertainment industry is preferable
