Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice and operational policies while maintaining compliance with accreditation standards.
- Ensure compliance with CBAHI standards and other regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical team members to improve service quality and resolve issues.
- Participate in daily or weekly management team meetings to discuss updates, resident complaints, and concerns.
- Monitor the infection control program to provide a safe environment and prevent disease transmission.
- Promote adherence to accident prevention procedures, rules, and safe work practices.
- Monitor incidents and complaints daily, identify unusual occurrences, and report them promptly for appropriate action.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-year experience for non-Saudis.
- Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Registered Nurse/Nurse Technician or at least dataflow completion.
- For supervisory roles such as head nurse or in-charge nurse, 2-3 years of managerial experience required.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and NRP as per specialty and relevant training.
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of regulations by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties related to healthcare practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations.
