Job Summary

As HSE Specialist – EPS Saudi Arabia, you will maintain positive and proactive relations with key stakeholders and employees by assisting with day-to-day HSE support, advice, training, and reporting functions. You will develop solutions and implement strategies to address key risk areas, communicate changes and process improvements, and participate in audits and reviews of work practices. Your knowledge of HSE systems including ISO14001 and ISO 45001, and maintaining Health, Safety and Environmental management systems, will be critical. You will also have opportunities for career progression and self-development with support from the EH HSE Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure all company policies surrounding HSE are met.
  2. Host and lead audits (internal, clients, authorities).
  3. Achieve all relevant KPIs and metrics.
  4. Prepare health and safety plans and support policy development.
  5. Promote incident prevention for employees and visitors.
  6. Coordinate and maintain HSE systems daily.
  7. Report on HSE performance and improvement needs.
  8. Assess legislative requirements and ensure compliance.
  9. Record incidents and produce statistics.
  10. Develop and deliver HSE training.
  11. Collaborate with operational teams for continuous improvement.
  12. Stay updated with legislation and standards.
  13. Monitor and analyze legal and technical standards.
  14. Advise on specialist areas like fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, machinery safety, and occupational diseases.
  15. Perform other duties as required.
  16. Develop practical processes to reduce HSE risks.
  17. Support risk assessments and controls.
  18. Conduct and review assessments, maintaining records.
  19. Investigate incidents and conduct training on safety topics.
  20. Manage waste and raw materials properly.
  21. Conduct internal audits per ISO standards and present findings.

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in oil and gas.
  • Thorough knowledge of Saudi Arabia HSE laws and standards.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Experience in HSE systems operation and management.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Relevant HSE advisory experience in oil and gas industry.
