Job description

We're looking for an Electrical Technician for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to ensure the maximum availability of equipment, including maintenance and servicing in line with Aggreko’s procedures.

What You’ll Do

• React effectively to technical support of field equipment breakdowns in a timely manner, during and outside of working hours when required.
• Ensure all equipment is prepared for hire in compliance with Aggreko ‘Green Card’ procedures.
• Complete all service-related documentation according to Aggreko process maps promptly.
• Achieve and maintain KPIs related to WRT and the Global Operational dashboard.
• Maintain and enhance relationships and communication onsite with clients.
• Perform other duties essential for effective operations and service as requested.

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Specific knowledge in electrical fields with experience in electrical & engine controllers/software like Deepsea, DEIF, AGC 4, Impower, Insite, etc., with the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Prior experience with Cummins, Iveco, or Scania Diesel Generator engines.
• Proficiency in PLC and M logic programming.
• Customer-focused, results-driven, and technically sound.
• Strong communication skills, able to work in teams and independently, and capable of completing reports legibly.
• Ability to travel as required, including manual work in all weather and terrain.
• Possession of a valid local driving license as per business needs.
• Commitment to compliance with Aggreko’s Health, Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures, and local legislation, including audits.
• Perform other duties related to effective operation and service as needed.

Additional Job Description

Purpose

Positions are typically field-based, focusing on delivering planned maintenance to ensure reliable and safe asset operation. Activities include:

• Coordinating and conducting maintenance activities within defined procedures
• Conducting safety inspections and complying with safety regulations
• Providing first-level technical advice to customers
• Resolving/troubleshooting implementation problems as needed

Accountability Level

Entry-level or highly experienced technical/support roles, requiring higher education or extensive work experience. Capable of leading work, handling non-routine situations, and guiding others. Holds appropriate electrical authorization.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to major component failure escalations.
• Perform major component changes and field repairs.
• Advanced troubleshooting of electrical LV or HV systems.
• Implement field campaigns as needed.
• Provide hands-on electrical support.
• HV/EHV commissioning.
• Ensure timely completion of major repairs within standards and budgets.

Typical Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
