Job Purpose
Jobs at this level are responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to B2B clients. The role holder shall drive innovation, identify new business opportunities, and develop tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of the industrial and logistics sector. The role holder shall carry out duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development of technical and business knowledge across target verticals and industries.
- Conduct detailed market assessments across all verticals and horizontals to identify concepts and prioritize opportunities.
- Identify needs across target verticals to design concepts and use cases to address them.
- Detail concepts based on client requirements and develop initial go-to-market strategies including business models, cases, and partnership options.
- Conduct client workshops and leverage channels such as Enterprise Briefing Centers to present concepts, initial business cases, and formalize collaborations through MoUs.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate the viability of concepts, such as revenue acceleration, efficiency, cost optimization, and productivity improvements.
- Provide the Bid Management team with inputs on client RfP scope when possible.
- Collaborate with Solution Architecture to design and detail complex project concepts.
- Work with Digital Solutions’ Business Development team on sector strategies, trends, and go-to-market approaches.
- Handover opportunities to Sales after reaching a mature stage (e.g., MoU signing, RfP issuance).
- Support Sales in evolving opportunities post-handover until deal closure.
- Identify key internal and external partners needed for solution development.
- Provide market feedback and product ideas to product managers based on portfolio use cases and emerging technologies.
Experience and Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in relevant fields.
- Managerial job band.
- Knowledge of the industrial and logistics sector, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Strong understanding of business development principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or relevant fields.
Certifications
- Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP) - recommended.
- Certified Strategic Planner (CSP) - recommended.
