Job description

Resort Manager vacancy in Khamis Mushayt Saudi Arabia

Position: Cougar Weapons Load and Release Technician

Location: Khamis Mushayt, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Work Type: Full Time

Division: Technical Assistance

Relocation: Yes

Program: RSAF COUGAR and SUPER PUMA TSP Helicopter

CERTIFICATIONS

Knowledge of basic electrical power, principles of physics, mechanics, and pneudraulics as applied to armaments launch, release, suspension, fusing, arming, and aircraft non-turret mounted gun systems. Proficient in using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment, as well as analyzing blueprints, schematics, and electrical wiring layouts. Must have an understanding of maintenance management and armaments loading and safety procedures. Must have a minimum of 85% proficiency in English (reading, writing, understanding, grammar).

ABILITY & EXPERIENCE
  1. Must have at least 10 years of experience in the occupation on COUGAR.
  2. Must have practical experience within the past 3 years.
  3. Establish maintenance requirements such as parts, clearances, tolerances, and corrosion damage.
  4. Ability to analyze electrical wiring diagrams, plans, and technical publications is mandatory.
  5. Determines repair procedures required to fix defective equipment.
  6. Must have experienced Avionics Program military or commercial certifications.
TASKS & OBLIGATIONS
  1. Advises on technical issues related to repair and maintenance of helicopters.
  2. Provides guidance on technical issues related to munitions loading, launch, release, and suspension systems maintenance tasks.
  3. Establishes repair procedures required to address faulty equipment.
  4. Diagnoses recurring malfunctions and recommends corrective actions by initiating or MDR.
  5. Inspects and evaluates repairs of munitions and non-turret mounted weapon systems and related armaments handling, loading, and inspection equipment.
  6. Examines helicopters to determine operational status.
  7. Translates inspection findings and establishes competence of rehabilitative activities.
  8. Inspects completed or in-progress work to ensure compliance with local regulations and technical publications.
  9. Reviews performance of designated workers.
  10. Conducts and manages on-the-job training programs.
  11. Trains personnel on using maintenance handbooks and RSAF handbooks.
  12. Trains RSAF employees on all phases of training.
