Job Description:

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of rotating equipment in a power plant. This includes machinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators. The engineer will ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of these systems by overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage rotating equipment in the plant, ensuring it meets operational and safety requirements.
  2. Monitor and analyze the performance of rotating equipment and implement corrective actions as needed.
  3. Ensure safety and regulatory compliance during operation and maintenance.
  4. Identify opportunities for performance optimization and implement continuous improvement practices.
  5. Manage projects related to the installation, upgrade, and replacement of rotating equipment.
  6. Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices and operational procedures.
  7. Control costs and manage resources efficiently to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
