Job description

• Manage daily trading activities, including buying, selling, and negotiating contracts across multiple products or commodities

• Develop and execute trading strategies to maximize profitability and mitigate risk.

• Create and implement short-term and long-term trading strategies to meet revenue and margin targets.

• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competition to identify new trading opportunities.

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, brokers, and logistics partners.

• Ensure all trading activities comply with legal regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. And all trade transactions are accurately documented and comply with regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with finance, logistics, and legal teams for the smooth execution of trades and settlements.

• Monitor and manage trade-related risks, including currency, credit, and delivery.

• Prepare regular reports on trading performance, forecasts, and market developments.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in ERP/trading software and the Microsoft Office Suite
