JOB PURPOSE:

This role is pivotal in driving the design, development, and implementation of our core systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership acumen.

Functional Accountabilities:

1. Advocate for development initiatives that support business objectives and drive innovation.
2. Define frontend development processes, standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
3. Lead and manage a team of frontend developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
4. Allocate resources, manage workload, and prioritize projects to ensure timely delivery of frontend solutions.
5. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
6. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and priorities.
7. Stay updated on frontend development trends, technologies, and tools, and make recommendations for adoption.
8. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
9. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
10. Ensure full adherence to cybersecurity policies, processes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in IT / Software Engineering / Computer or Information Science-related field required.
• PMP or CSM or related certification is a must.
• Relevant certifications from cloud service providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Oracle Cloud).
• Minimum of 6-8 years of management experience.
