Job description

Exiting opportunity to perform as Custody Operations specialist with proven local securities market experience and support the implementation of new initiatives. You will have an opportunity to develop your people management skills and in the future lead the operations team responsible for the ongoing support of the business.

As a Direct Custody and Clearing Operations Associate within the Operations team, you will be an innovative team member with the requisite skills and experience to instigate change and ensure an efficient, controlled operating model. Your responsibilities will include defining and managing the operating model, determining technology requirements, and establishing business processes to support new business initiatives, all while maintaining a robust control environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provides processing support for effective and efficient process delivery of Custody Trade Operations
  • Supports processing and efficient process delivery across instruments like Equity, G-sec, Corporate Bonds for settlement and regulatory reporting
  • Executes error-free operations and escalates any exceptions across processes including pre-trade activity, trade capture, affirmation, brokerage & settlement
  • Knows SWIFT messaging
  • Provides first-level supervision in managing daily business deliverables and responds promptly to client inquiries
  • Ensures compliance with firm policies and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Communicates effectively with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external market participants
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Qualified CMA certification is essential
  • Minimum 1 year of trade settlement and custody experience in KSA
  • Good understanding of KSA Tadawul systems and operations
  • Ability to prioritize workloads effectively and meet critical deadlines
  • High integrity; operates with transparency and honesty
  • Proficiency in MS-Office, especially MS-Excel
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Degree or equivalent qualification preferred
