Job description

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Review Quality Manuals, documents, and implementation procedures to verify compliance with Aramco codes and standards, regulations, and regulatory commitments. Maintain all inspection & test / Quality records. Ensure that the construction project complies with all ARAMCO quality, safety, and building regulations.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the HSE strategic plan in alignment with the global and Saudi Aramco standards.
  2. Ensure and promote Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) across all functions within the company.
  3. Develop and champion HSE agenda through proactive communication and influencing. Ensure company operations comply with Corporate HSE Policies on Health, Safety & Environment.
  4. Develop HSE improvement plans through structured assessment processes and monitoring mechanisms to proactively manage performance.
  5. Be accountable for the work undertaken by the HSE department.
  6. Conduct regular HSE walkabouts to ensure overall HSE compliance.
  7. Develop and implement HSE programs such as loss prevention systems, among others.
  8. Conduct HSE-related training sessions as needed.
  9. Participate in internal or external safety risk assessments.
  10. Share lessons learned from industry and professional networks concerning Safety, Health, and Environment.
  11. Implement procedures as required by Corporate HSE Policies and ISO 14001, 45001 standards.
  12. Ensure all departments are continually updated on lessons learned from affiliates concerning Safety, Health, and Environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Knowledge of management system requirements like ISO 14001, 45001.
  • Successful track record in delivering a range of HSE initiatives.
  • Experience with Loss Prevention Systems and incident investigations.

Other Qualifications

  • ISO 14001 and 45001 Quality Management System certification.
  • IRCA Accredited QMS Auditor / Lead Auditor.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

Experience

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience, including at least 10 years as an HSE Manager with Aramco contractors in the same capacity (Pipeline Projects experience is mandatory).
  • Aramco approved as HSE Manager in Oil & Gas sector.
