Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence organization within the Downstream Reliability Solutions Department.

The Reliability Solutions Department (RSD) provides engineering support to Saudi Aramco’s global facilities, including refining, NGL processing, and petrochemicals. This support encompasses reliability, inspection, corrosion management, static and rotating equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs and management to drive reliability initiatives for rotating equipment.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance equipment reliability, increasing availability and performance.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues impacting reliability.
• Serve as a reliability consultant across organizational units.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards, processes, and guidelines.
• Coordinate with corporate entities on reliability programs for alignment.
• Develop digital tools and solutions for rotating equipment analytics.
• Perform online vibration analysis using systems like Bently Nevada System1 or similar.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies for equipment evaluation.
• Support projects, turnarounds, and lead commissioning and startups of rotating equipment.
• Provide technical support and quality checks for machinery at workshops.
• Develop technical reports and documentation.
• Maintain strong IT skills and knowledge of PdM technologies.
• Demonstrate strong communication, business, and leadership skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• 15 years of experience in rotating equipment, including at least 5 years in troubleshooting and assessments.
• Knowledge of engineering practices, codes, and standards such as API610, API611, API612, API614, API617, API618, API682, API692, API691.
• Ability to analyze vibration data; vibration certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills for managing technical discussions and guiding teams.
