Job description

We are seeking a Recovery Officer responsible for revenue recovery from developers against invoiced sales. The role involves meeting developers to ensure timely payments to Bayut.

In this role, you will:

1. Prepare and share daily reports and analysis on recovery status across projects to provide visibility to management and finance teams.
2. Classify developers and projects into Good, Average, and Chronic based on recovery ratios, escalating chronic cases to management to prevent bad debts.
3. Follow up and ensure completion of Ifragh.
4. Ensure funds are deposited into developer accounts and report to Finance & Sales Heads.
5. Follow up for invoicing completed units.
6. Recover each invoice within the defined Turnaround Time as per SOPs.
7. Archive invoice copies, developer deposits, acknowledgments, and recovery documents.
8. Realize revenue from developers into Bayut accounts.
9. Handle legal matters related to recovery, including document collection and delivery.
10. Carry out recovery efforts from developers and, in some cases, clients.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
2. 1-2 years of experience in Real Estate or Recovery roles in any industry.
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
4. Knowledge of commercial avenues and market research.
5. Understanding of real estate sales and ability to forecast sales accurately.
6. Data analysis skills to identify trends and issues.
7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
8. Strong team orientation, integrity, and attention to detail.
9. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, sales teams, and management.
10. Ability to thrive in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.
