Senior Manager - Media & Show Production
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a dynamic and talented Senior Manager - Media & Show Production to oversee our exciting media and show production initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of all media content and live shows for our evolving entertainment offerings. You'll be partnering with various stakeholders and leading a talented team to bring innovative entertainment experiences to life.
Responsibilities
- Emphasize QIC's commitment to safety by actively promoting Stop Work authority and adhering to established health, safety, and wellbeing protocols.
- Exemplify leadership qualities that reflect Qiddiya Values while guiding junior staff to meet departmental objectives and uphold a culture of safety.
- Deliver regular updates on media and show production progress to the Project Executive, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Lead the tendering and contract management processes by coordinating with internal teams to ensure comprehensive documentation and scope input.
- Collaborate with diverse internal departments and external consultants to effectively manage interfaces throughout project execution.
- Oversee the entire media development process in coordination with external consultants, ensuring all deliverables align with project objectives and adhere to Ways of Working (WOW).
- Engage with contractors and stakeholders to identify project requirements and innovate production solutions that meet QIC standards.
- Facilitate the media review and approval process with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Coordinate critical mock-ups and workshops with external consultants to address potential integration challenges early in the process.
- Evaluate media consultant submissions for adherence to quality standards and appropriate compliance with established processes.
- Disseminate all relevant media and show information effectively among stakeholders and consultants.
- Ensure on-site integration of media and show deliverables in alignment with commercial, technical, and creative project objectives.
- Offer support to other divisions within QIC regarding media and show development as needed.
- Prepare and participate in presentations to senior management on media and show projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Media/Film/TV Production, Arts, Communication, Project Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in media and show production for theme parks or other large-scale entertainment projects.
- Professional accreditation in relevant discipline is advantageous.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of media production processes and industry standards.
- Hands-on experience in managing media pipelines, including film production, post-production, VFX, CGI, and audio design.
- Proficiency in project management tools is required.
- Experience with immersive media formats such as AR, VR, and interactive media is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of media software and relevant tools is essential.
- Familiarity with show elements design, installation, and integration for theme parks or entertainment venues is required.
- Competence in Adobe Creative Suite and other media production software is preferred.
- Previous experience in the KSA/Middle East region is beneficial.
- Fluency in Arabic or Japanese is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Robust problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail are essential attributes.
- Comprehensive project management expertise, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Proven ability to manage media vendors and ensure project deliverables meet time, quality, and budget objectives.
