Job Overview:

The Senior Manager Contract Management is responsible for developing departmental plans, including business, production, and organizational priorities. The role requires multi-disciplinary expertise and industry knowledge to achieve financial and operational goals. The Senior Manager manages multiple teams, sets priorities, and allocates resources efficiently. They identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational issues. This role directly impacts business results by supporting projects, products, services, and technologies, and by developing policies and plans.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Law, Business, Quantity Surveying, or related fields
  • Over 14 years of experience in the energy industry, covering all phases of EPCI project delivery
  • Experience preferably in Offshore, Subsea, or Onshore Oil and Gas projects
  • Functional, business, and leadership skills
  • Significant prime contract management experience on small, medium, and large EPC projects
  • Extensive experience in lump sum bidding and project execution
  • Ability to work effectively both as a team member and team leader
  • Adherence to McDermott’s integrity values
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Project

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain globally consistent contract management tools, processes, and procedures
  • Evaluate, develop, deploy, and maintain global strategies to improve contract management efficiency, increase gross profit, and minimize risks
  • Monitor, measure, and improve the effectiveness of global tools, processes, and procedures
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the Contracts Management function
  • Perform other duties related to Contracts Management as assigned by the Global Contracts Management Lead
