Job description

Job Purpose

To achieve the sales forecasts and collection of the assigned (Optical) products by prospecting the territory sales opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with prospects and customers, promoting assigned products, following up on order processes and collections, sustaining customer in-service, and reporting on competitors’ actions.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct, document, and communicate analyses and evaluations of customers’ preferences, business potential, and competition actions in the territory.
  2. Develop sales forecasts and action plans for (Optical) products, conforming to company strategies for review and approval.
  3. Represent AMICO as an authorized partner to sell (Optical) products, working with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  4. Meet and interact with target customers and key business players to define sales potential, promote, and sell the assigned products.
  5. Participate in marketing events, conferences, workshops, and promotional campaigns related to the territory and accounts.
  6. Support and provide in-service to customers.
  7. Ensure skilled technical support to customers; follow up on customer satisfaction regarding equipment installation, startup, utilization, and maintenance.
  8. Report on action plans, customer responses, achievements, sales potentials, and competitors’ activities.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with clients, including surgeons, nursing, and clinical staff.
  10. Assist doctors and staff with the installation and setup of equipment.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields from a recognized institute.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role; freshers with a sales flair are also considered.
  • Skills and Competencies: Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Arabic; persuasive relation-building skills; business acumen with a sales orientation.
