Job Summary

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing operations related to inbound and outbound deliveries of materials to their respective warehouses. They ensure high standards of housekeeping and safety procedures. Additionally, they manage external services to ensure effective and cost-efficient logistics operations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Management

• Oversee warehouse space management and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures for storage and quality management.
• Optimize warehouse utilization and supervise storekeepers.
• Manage warehousing processes and identify cost-saving opportunities in material handling.
• Conduct regular inspections of regional branches and warehouses for storage, cleanliness, and stock quality.
• Plan and oversee maintenance of warehouses and equipment to meet health and safety standards.

Logistics and Transportation

• Achieve daily customer DOTIF targets.
• Assist in daily route planning for customer deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock transactions for queries.
• Ensure safety and hygiene of the fleet, and coordinate maintenance requests.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry on SAP ERP for purchase, transportation, stock transfer, return orders, and sales data.
• Supervise storekeepers for effective loading, unloading, and sales order handling.
• Oversee material transportation processes and handle escalations.
• Ensure timely return of transportation containers.
• Coordinate with procurement and transport companies for port arrivals.

Team Management

• Manage all warehouse back-office staff.
• Set clear directions, review work, and handle escalations.
• Handle HR responsibilities including hiring, training, career development, attendance, leave, and performance management of direct reports.
