Job Summary

The M&E Technician is responsible for the reliable operation and maintenance of the hotel's physical plant, sewerage treatment plant, steam boilers, calorifiers, gensets, and other plant equipment and machinery. They will conduct regular testing and inspection of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure operation in accordance with engineering standards to achieve optimal efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead major repairs on pumps, generators, boilers, RO plant, STP, fuel network, water bottling plant, and main pump station.
  • Prepare materials list for repairs and report work to the Section Head.
  • Assist in spare parts requests, check stock levels monthly, and inform the Department Secretary of low stock.
  • Ensure welding and other works conform to engineering standards.
  • Update preventive maintenance schedules as required.
  • Record all repair works in logbooks and equipment record cards.
  • Complete work orders accurately, efficiently, and completely.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Consult with the Section Head or Director of Engineering when in doubt.
  • Perform overtime or adjust schedules as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Engineering.
