Job description

Overview

The graphic designer is responsible for creating visual designs for various mediums such as print, digital, and broadcast. They create designs that effectively communicate the message and goals of the campaign while also resonating with the target audience. This may include creating layouts, typography, illustrations, and infographics. Additionally, they may create and maintain design guidelines, oversee production, and ensure that designs are technically and visually accurate, as well as ensuring timely delivery.

The Graphic Designer collaborates with other members of the creative team, such as copywriters and art directors, while overseeing and mentoring junior designers.

Responsibilities

The Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and designing digital content across a variety of asset types. This role will partner closely with a dedicated Digital Content Strategist and collaborate with the media team to deliver high-quality agile digital content. The Designer will have ample autonomy to shape content served to multiple audiences and will be responsible for the development and timely, quality delivery of all agile content.

  1. Work independently on design-only projects.
  2. Produce websites and mobile apps based on wireframes.
  3. Manage projects from concept to realization.
  4. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality digital output.
Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency
  1. Design and produce online content, including social media assets, display banners, and art direct still/video shoots.
  2. Collaborate with media teams to ensure brand consistency across all designs.
  3. Review product positioning and online marketing content for improvements.
  4. Work with developers to oversee smooth content implementation.
  5. Create cross-platform designs that drive user acquisition and retention.
  6. Collaborate with creatives, UX, and developers to meet high standards.
  7. Stay updated with emerging digital trends and incorporate them into work.
  8. Articulate and present creative ideas and treatments.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
  • Ability to design creative assets with a focus on aesthetics, typography, color, branding, imagery, and layout.
  • Experience across static, video, and animation assets.
  • Comfortable challenging content strategies and asking questions to improve work.
  • Strong conceptual, composition, photo art direction, and ideation skills.
  • Proficiency in digital social media deliverables, including video and display ads.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent file management skills.
  • A digital portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and banner development.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, or advertising preferred.
  • Experience in an agency or in-house design team.
  • Understanding of digital and responsive design across devices.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and effectively.
