Overview

We are seeking a Communications Data Analyst to join the Communications Strategy Department.


The Communications Strategy Department is a key part of Saudi Aramco’s Corporate Communications, managing advertising campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and developing communication and content strategies, while monitoring the company's reputation in key markets worldwide.


The Communications Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets using established models to provide actionable insights on the company's reputation and brand across various markets and segments, and to suggest data-driven strategies for improvement.





Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate, you will be required to perform the following:




  • Oversee the company’s global quantitative reputation study and qualitative focus groups and interviews

  • Manage the social listening and insights program, gauging sentiment across digital and traditional media platforms

  • Oversee brand measurement and research to evaluate ROI from advertising and sponsorships

  • Develop KPIs and track performance for regular reporting

  • Coordinate with internal teams to measure impacts of events, communications, and PR activities

  • Manage the central repository of reputation and brand research data

  • Handle contracting and invoicing with agencies

  • Conduct high-level statistical analysis on datasets for driver analysis

  • Design survey and data sourcing strategies to ensure statistical relevance and cost efficiency




Education & Experience Requirements

Ideal candidates will have:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus

  • 15+ years in data science, market research, or analytics

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to analyze structured and unstructured data and draw insights

  • Proficiency with tools like SPSS, Power BI, Tableau, Pulsar, and other audience intelligence software

  • Excellent communication skills to present data to non-technical audiences

  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL

  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, visualization, machine learning, and statistical modeling
